Citrus fruits, potatoes and onions form the top three of Egyptian exports

The first half of 2022 is satisfactory for Egyptian exports, which exceeded 3.75 million tonnes in volume. According to the classification established by the ministry, citrus fruits come in well ahead, ahead of potatoes, onions and grapes.
In Egypt, the Ministry of Agriculture and Spatial Planning, announced that total agricultural exports during the period from January 1, 2022 to the end of June exceeded 3.75 million tons.
According to the ministry's ranking: Citrus exports exceeded 1.54 million tons, followed by potato exports which exceeded 816,000 tons, then onion exports which exceeded 185,000 tons.
Next are grape exports which exceeded 75,000 tons, followed by beans exports which reached 75,000 tons, then sweet potato exports which exceeded 39,000 tons, tomato exports which reached 32,000 tons and strawberry exports which exceeded 19,000 tonnes.
