Argentina peach crop to drop

The Argentinian peach crop for 2006 is expected to be 9 percent lower than in 2005 due to frost damage. Total production is expected to be at around 140,000 tonnes compared to 153,000 tonnes in 2005. Just under 50 percent of the total is expected to be used for canned peaches.
