Variations in apple and pear crops

This year's apple volumes are lower than last year to reach 335 000 tons. This drop is due to the cut in growing areas and bad weather conditions when flowering. As for pears, 175 000 tons are expected that is to say 1,5 times more than the previous year. An abundant and good quality crop, indeed, has been forecasted.
