Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have agreed to strengthen cooperation on water resource management and river restoration to improve the resilience of agricultural production systems.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the cooperation includes technical support and knowledge exchange aimed at improving water management practices and protecting farming areas from environmental risks. The initiative is designed to support sustainable agricultural development and help producers adapt to climate-related challenges.
Officials stated that improving water infrastructure and management capacity is considered essential for maintaining stable agricultural production and protecting long-term food supply. The partnership is expected to contribute to more reliable farming conditions and support the sustainability of rural production systems.
