In August 2022, China imposed a ban on Taiwanese products following a visit to Taiwan by Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the US House of Representatives.
According to the Taiwanese media, China will lift its ban on imports of Taiwanese products, according to statements by Zhao Zenglian, Vice-Minister of China's General Administration of Customs.
Without announcing a precise date, Zhao Zenglian said that China would allow imports of citrus fruits and 2 types of fish from Taiwan.
