Avocado exports from the southern hemisphere and Mexico grew 29% in volume

Avocado exports from the southern hemisphere and Mexico in the 2022 season increased 29% in volume, says iQonsulting in its "Yearbook 2022: International Avocado Market."

 

With a 58.4% share, Mexico led the ranking, having exported 1.227.070 tons during the campaign. Followed by Peru, with a participation of 25.2% in exports, and with a total volume exported of 557.010 tons in the same term.

 

Chile was placed in third place with a 6% share in shipments and the total volume shipped of 126.508 tons.
