"+Summer, +Broccoli", Spain's new summer campaign

The Spanish Association +Broccoli, dedicated to promoting the consumption of this healthy vegetable, has launched its summer campaign. Its aim is to associate broccoli with all the fun moments that happen during the summer: holidays, more trips, days at the beach, more time with friends, more hours of sun, more, more and more broccoli!

Also ideal in summer

With this campaign, the association aims to promote broccoli as the ideal protagonist of summer dishes. Thanks to its exceptional nutritional content and its versatility in the kitchen, broccoli is the perfect ingredient to both side dishes and fresh recipes. It can also be easily integrated into all summer “escapades”, bringing flavour and health to every meal. The initiative will include a variety of social media content, such as videos and reels highlighting fresh and tasty broccoli recipes, a new creative salad section, sweepstakes, and posts with a nod to the Olympics, designed to encourage consumption of the vegetable this season and continue to inspire fans.

A very creative vegetable

Maria Ángeles Piné, director of +Broccoli, highlighted: "In summer we continue to promote the consumption of this vegetable in a creative way. We adapt to moments of leisure and fun, offering relevant and practical content that shows how broccoli can be a delicious and nutritious option for any occasion. We have achieved that broccoli consumption in Spain exceeds 2 kg per capita, and our goal is to continue increasing. The +Broccoli Association is actively dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet. This vegetable, renowned for its exceptional nutritional content, is an excellent source of vitamins, minerals and fibre. During the summer, when hydration and energy are essential, broccoli stands out for its high water content and low calorie intake. In addition, it offers antioxidants that strengthen the immune system and protect against oxidative stress. The association has 55 members, including broccoli growers, seed companies, auxiliary industry and magazines throughout Spain.
