Niebla, a new variety of strawberry was created in Andalusia and began its launch with more than 1 million plants sold.
A new variety of strawberry from the province of Huelva.
"Niebla" is the third variety developed by FNM (Fresas Nuevos Materiales) after "Primoris" and "Antilla". This new variety is marketed for the first time this season.
According to its creators, "Niebla" will have very good production throughout the season. Its long stem
facilitates harvesting, its resistance offers easy transportation and it has quality and bright colour.
FNM (Fresas Nuevos Materiales), created in 1999 at the initiative of IDF (Fresa Investigación y Desarrollo) and associate members Freshuelva, aims to develop new varieties specific to the province of Huelva to reduce dependence abroad.
