Another strong performance (+57.5%) for Vietnamese exports

According to local media reports, according to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, fruit and vegetable exports for the period January to August 2023 generated sales of USD 3.45 billion, up 57.5% on the same period in 2022 and exceeding the previous record of USD 3.81 billion set in 2018.

 

This performance suggests that for the whole of 2023, fruit and vegetable exports could reach USD 5 billion, the target that had been set for 2025.
