This year, the 11th edition of the European Chestnut Days, the European Chestnut Days will take place in France, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, at the beginning of October and also online a few weeks later.
EUROCASTANEA, the European chestnut network, brings together organizations of chestnut producers from 5 countries: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Austria. Each year Eurocastanea organizes the European Chestnut Days in a producing country.
This year, the 11th edition of the European Chestnut Days will take place in France on October 1 and 2, 2021 in St-Yrieix- La-Perche (Haute-Vienne department, Nouvelle-Aquitaine region). Technical visits, round tables, conferences and the 'Tech-Châtaigne' trade show. The event will continue on the Internet with a webinar scheduled for October 21 and 22, 2021. During the virtual event, several themes will be discussed including harvest forecasts, markets, disease and pest management.
