A Dutch logistics company is opening a new hotspot in Moerdijk.

Frigo Breda is an important player in the logistics and warehouse activities of fresh food and related products. The purpose of Easyfresh (Frigo Breda is co-owner of Easyfresh) is to provide their clients with complete logistics solutions anywhere in the world.

The company offers to their customers a new logistics hotspot in Moerdijk, Netherlands.

Frigo Moerdijk will not be a typical coldstore; it will have several cells, allowing all goods to be stored at any temperature. It will provide the full kind of services to the clients: pre-cooling, quality inspection, palletizing, order picking, assembling groupage loads, special packaging, providing customs documentation, re-packing, re-weighting, labeling.  

The new coldstore in Moerdijk will be equipped with a veterinary inspection point, so it will not be necessary to discharge in Rotterdam. There will be a freezer storage at – 60 degrees. 

Location of an indisputable benefit. Moerdijk has a unique position in the country, it has short-sea and rail connections not only to the UK, but also to Germany, Spain, Norway, Italy and Poland. The distribution center (DC) will connect with Easyfresh network, which includes 220 countries and territories. It will add value to the services, which Easyfresh is already offering in the market as a 45 container reefer fleet, operating in the North Sea. The 45 container reefer fleet connects Spain and Portugal with the Netherlands and deep sea origins with Scandinavia, the UK and Ireland, which they offer to the receivers and retailers.

This coldstore will add value to the already existing 6 coldstores in Breda, which is owned by Easyfresh Nederlands/Frigo Breda. Some part of the cargo will be shifted from these coldstores to the new coldstore in Moerdijk. The new warehouse in Moerdijk will  accommodate 72,000 pallets.
