Vietnamese longan exported to Canada and France

The Ngoc Ngan Company dispatched its first shipment of longan fruit to Canada yesterday.
According to the company’s director, Nguyen Xuan Huy, under a recently-signed contract with the Canadian Certified Importers Company, one container of 25 tonnes of longan fruit will be delivered per day ,on average, to the city of Edmonton in the Province of Alberta, Canada.
In addition, the Ngoc Ngan Company has reached an agreement to export a special variety of longan grown near the city of Hue to France. The Hue longan fruit mets the Global GAP standard.
At first, Vietnamese longan will be sold only at the Eurasie Supermarket in Bordeaux, France.
