Nominees for Fruit Logistica Innovation Award announced

The third annual Fruit Logistica Innovation Award will be contested by companies from Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Japan and the US.
The ten nominees for the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award have been chosen by the jury ahead of the event, all of whom have established an outstanding new product or service in the fresh produce industry during the past year.
On the first two days of the event, taking place in Berlin between 7-9 February, an estimated 45,000 visitors from 120 countries will have the opportunity to vote on their favourite industry innovation.
Among the nominees are French company Rougeline Oudelis, which has created a new packaging concept for strawberries called Deux, The Greenery with its Fresh Tapas take-away salads, and Iodi potatoes from Pizzoli in Italy containing high iodine content.
Entries also come from Miatech of the US, Naemo and Montalbano from Italy, Nunhems and Eosta/Enza from the Netherlands, Tokita Seed from Japan, and Sealpac from Germany.
