This year, the first cherries harvested to Céret will be waited.
The 2010 cherries season will be late.
The harvest of the first cherries is announced with a delay from 15 days to 3 weeks in Céret, called “the capital of cherries”, situated in South of France.
Last year, the harvest had started on May 2nd, and according to the forecasts, this year, it will be necessary to wait about three weeks after this date.
Other producing regions are in the same case, the cold of this winter delayed everywhere the evolution of fruits.
