How Lidl fights against food waste

The supermarket chain Lidl Spain presents the anti-waste bag with fruits and vegetables. It is a pack for 3 euros made up of fruit and vegetable products that do not meet aesthetic standards, however, are perfect for consumption.

 

As reported by Lidl on its Linkedin page, with the aim of fighting against food waste, the bag will be available in more than 650 stores throughout the country, along with other novelties offered by the brand, such as the sale of bread from the day before at half price or a second additional reduction of 30% to 50% on the last day of expiration in refrigerator items, fish or meat.
