Citrus fruit of California in quarantine

The United States Department of Agriculture has put two zones of citrus fruit production, based in the state of California, in quarantine following the discovery of the Eastern fly and the Mexican fly of the fruit. On the whole, 8 500 hectares of orchards around Los Angeles and San Diego are concerned.
