Peruvian avocado exports exceed $146 million in the first 3 months of 2023

Peruvian avocado exports in the first 3 months of 2023 increased both in volume and value, compared to the same term in 2022. 

Between January and March 2023, the country exported 78.042.252 kilos of the fruit worth $146.778.783, informs Agrodata Perú.

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 52.453.937 kilos of avocado for $101.945.056.

In the first three months of 2023, the main destination for said supplies was the Netherlands (38% of total value), followed by Spain (22%), China (13%), Chile (8%), the United Kingdom (6%), and others.
