High production of dried fruit

Among the numerous dried fruit families produced in Spain, the almond represents the main production with 200 to 240 000 tons mainly in the Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia and Andalousia regions. We can expect a very high 2002/2003 crop due to optimal weather conditions in Catalonia.
