Dairy Farm back to profit

Dairy Farm International, the Hong Kong group, has announced a USD30,1 million net profit for 2001, thanks to the sell of the unprofitable Australian chain, Franklins. The group plans to invest now USD64 million in the country, notably in its Wellcome banner.
Dairy Farm also plans to increase its convenience store network "Seven Eleven" in China, which already counts 72 stores. The group plans the opening of 350 stores in the Guangdong province within 4 years.
