Delhaize acquires Cash Fresh

Belgian retailer Delhaize has acquired Cash Fresh, a chain of 43 supermarkets mainly in north-eastern Belgium.
In 2004, Cash Fresh had sales of EUR 209 million.
The Cash Fresh supermarkets will gradually be converted to the Delhaize banner.
