Live from Fruit Attraction: SIIM presents their "Zero Carbon" pineapples from Ecuador
At the stand 6D01 SIIM presents the first in the world Zero Carbon pineapple. Pineapple grown in Ecuador and delivered by sea. The whole process of supply chain of these pineapples, from the planting to distribution is 100% Carbon neutral.
For many years engaged in the reduction of carbon footprint of their fruits and vegetables, SIIM announced the arrival of the first in the world Zero Carbon pineapple at the European market: from their farms in Ecuador to their platform located at the International Market in Paris-Rungis, France. Issued by TUV Rheinland this certification “zero carbon” sums up the long work and mobilization of teams, in Ecuador and in France.
This pineapple of Extra Sweet variety sold under the mark Terrasol from 1961 is recognised for its taste qualities on the European level for many years. Cultivated at zero latitude across the Andean massif it benefits from exceptional soil, perfect climate conditions and historical know-how developed by the production team. The product that respects the basics of sustainable agriculture this pineapple has certification Global GAP, Rainforest Alliance and audited by OIOS.
At their Fruit Attraction stand SIIM also presents litchi from Madagascar, bananas Selvatica, mangoes Dibra and also the rest of the range of fresh fruits and vegetables.
