The Greenery cooperative became Coforta

The new logo, simple and clear, symbol of strength and cooperation.
Grouping together 1500 members, The Greenery offer a complete range of vegetables, fruits and mushrooms. The food safety, the durability, the innovation and the logistic efficiency have always been its priorities.
The Dutch cooperative “The Greenery UA” changed its name to take that of the COFORTA. This new name allows distinguishing the cooperative and the trade company.
Greenery BV keeps its company name and identity.
Theo Ammerlaan, the President of the cooperative, declared: "the change of name of the cooperative is logical. The difference between the name of the trade company and the cooperative sends a powerful message and allows underlining the fact that the cooperative has a clear strategy to group together supply chains. "
The name of Coforta wants to advance reliability and robustness but also quality, while being simple and clear. The green and yellow colours are a reference to the History of The Greenery.
