With consumption growing steadily , the berries have become the stars of Fruits rays.
Naturally sweet little green berry that is consumed without the peel and the flesh often looks like the flesh of green NERGI® kiwi succeeded in 2015 its second marketing season. More than 1.2 million units of 125g were sold in Germany, France , Italy , Benelux and the UK .
NERGI® is harvested by hand in late August / early September in orchards conducted according to the principles of sustainable agriculture , in France , Portugal and Italy. Marketing from September to November.
Spurred by strong demand , planting of NERGI® orchards are surging. Sales within 5 years could reach 20 million units .
