Mercabarna is expanding

Mercabarna, the wholesale market of Barcelona, is expanding its activities with an area equipped with new facilities.

The new facilities were built in the area formerly occupied by the flower market. The total area represent 35,167 m2.

The new building provides 8,577 m2 on two floors (6660 m2 on the ground floor and 1,917 m2 in 1st floor) and will accommodate a dozen companies.

These new premises called Multiservicio III have been inaugurated and will be operational in the coming days. The investment was $ 4.6 million and the implementation period of 13 months.
