WalMart plans to open 100 new stores in China within 3 years.
WalMart, the n° 1 global retailer, plans to increase its presence in China.
The U.S. WalMart plans to open over 100 new stores over the next 3 years. The company will give priority to large format stores such as hypermarkets.
WalMart currently has 370 hypermarkets and supermarkets in China. With this expansion, WalMart aims to maintain its growth momentum, driven by the emerging middle class.
