Supervalu posts increase in yearly sales

US grocery giant Supervalu has released its Fiscal 2003 results, with sales climbing to over US$ 20 billion.
Net earnings for the year stood at US$280.1 million compared to US$257.0 million the year before.
Supervalu operates a retail network of 1,483 stores in the USA and employs over 55,000 people.
