All innovations concerning irrigation in a demonstration field, a convention on the theme of water and the presence of the world's largest engineering companies. AcquaCampus will be the new event at Macfrut 2018 (Rimini, May 9-11).
This project, developed by Cesena Fiera in cooperation with ANBI (National Association of Complaints, Irrigation and Territorial Development) and CER (Canale Emiliano Romagnolo), focuses on the use of water in agriculture, as water becomes a key resource for global development.
AcquaCampus will include an exhibition area and a demonstration area. A dynamic field of 700 square meters, where visitors will have the opportunity to see operating advanced irrigation systems. In addition to these initiatives, ANBI will organize an agreement in cooperation with CER to illustrate the results and objectives of the ongoing research in the fruit & vegetables sector.
"Today, irrigation is a precondition for the agricultural sector, especially for fruit and vegetables, and will be even more so in the future," says Francesco Vincenzi, President of ANBI. "Having the right quality and quantity of water is essential for business success and enabling the agri-food sector to compete in global markets."
