In addition, members of the Local Police and the Guardia Civil of Miajadas have joined the intervention.
As a precautionary measure, the factory has evacuated its 25 workers to prevent any personal injury. The mayor of Miajadas, Antonio Díaz, has suggested that the cause of the fire could be linked to welding work carried out on the cooling tower, which has been seriously affected. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported and production at the factory was suspended, given that its busiest period occurs during the summer.
