Bakker Logistiek resumed transport activities of EFT

EFT (European Food Transport), part of UNIVEG group is resumed by the Bakker Logistiek group.

The acquisition of EFT by the Bakker Logistiek group offers to the company the opportunity to serve clients optimally, both in contract logistics and transport contracts, and from the Benelux. EFT was already a partner of Bakker Logistiek group for several years and they collaborated in the Benelux.

With a little more than 75 employees and a fleet of 50 trucks, EFT plays an important role in the logistics sector in Belgium. The direction of EFT and the majority of staff remain in place; consequently the continuity of customer service is 100% guaranteed.

UNIVEG continue transportation activities for its own UNIVEG companies (UNIVEG Belgium Ben and Fresh) that are part of the added value that the UNIVEG Group offers its clients. In the future, UNIVEG will continue to be a major customer of EFT, both for international transport and for national distribution.
