A key summer meeting sets the stage for talks on berries, innovation and sector priorities.
The 11th International Berry Congress will take place on June 17–18 at Casa Colón in Huelva, with renewed support from the province’s main institutions.
Organized by Freshuelva, the event will bring together growers, marketers, researchers, auxiliary companies and public bodies to discuss the main challenges and opportunities facing the berry sector.
Fundación Caja Rural del Sur has renewed its role as exclusive main sponsor, while Huelva City Council and the Provincial Council have also confirmed their backing. The Diputación will take part in the official program through a roundtable on social responsibility and local development, covering circular migration, entrepreneurship among women hired at origin and the social impact of the berry industry.
Freshuelva president Francisco José Gómez said the support reflects the strength of an event that helps position Huelva as an international hub for berries, production, innovation and exports.
Last year’s edition gathered more than 1,700 professionals. Registration and exhibitor bookings remain open through the congress website.
