Van der Windt Packaging and PACOMBI HORTI change the name

From the 1^st of May Van der Windt Packaging and PACOMBI HORTI will continue to work under the name Paardekooper. This name change is part of the new strategy to further reinforce the family business's position in the field of packaging solutions.

In addition to the new name, after more than fifty years, Van der Windt Packaging is leaving Honselersdijk in mid-April to move into a new building in Den Hoorn (Harnaschpolder). The building features a logistics centre of over 27,000m2 with 24 docks. Combined with a good location along the A4 motorway, this represents considerable optimisation of the logistics processes.

Lyanne Paardekooper, company`s CMO, explains: "The new corporate structure and strategy will enable us to respond faster to the rapidly changing world of packaging. The demand for sustainable packaging solutions is growing and the importance of brand packaging is ever increasing. Integration also results in a broader product portfolio, for an even better and more complete service offering - now and in the future."

The name 'Windt' will continue to be used as a product label of industrial and agricultural sectors packaging solutions. The range includes flexible films, cardboard shakers and buckets and paper bags made from Cartopaper®.

Administrative changes go hand in hand with the name change and the relocation.
Customers and suppliers have been informed of the changes.
