The quality will be the determining factor for the next export campaigns

The next apple crop will be important but the hail that hit a large part of the Polish orchards will affect their "commercial quality".

 

 

A consortium of Polish producers warned that the "commercial quality" of apples will be lower because of damage due to hail, which will make them harder to sell for export.

 

 

The new export markets, found to replace the Russian market after the embargo, are much more demanding. The highest quality is required.

 

 

The Polish apple sector is facing a new challenge if it is to keep the growth since ten years improving varieties and quality to strengthen its market share internationally is necessary.
