In 2023, the Netherlands exported agricultural products worth a total of EUR 123.8 billion, including EUR 8.7 billion worth of vegetables and EUR 7.7 billion worth of fruit (Photo: twitter/dutchdailynews).
According to CBS (Statistics Netherlands), in 2023 the Netherlands exported agricultural products worth a total of EUR 123.8 billion, of which EUR 82.1 billion were Dutch products and EUR 41.7 billion re-exported.
This total value of EUR 123.8 billion in 2023 represents an increase of +1.6% compared with 2022.
In 2023, the ranking of the Netherlands' main agricultural exports remains unchanged from 2022. In 1st place are dairy products and eggs (EUR 12 billion), in 2nd place horticultural exports (EUR 11.5 billion), in 3rd place meat (EUR 11.2 billion), in 4th place vegetable exports (EUR 8.7 billion), in 5th place beverages, and in 6th place fruit exports (EUR 7.7 billion).
In 2023 the ranking of destination countries: Germany with EUR 29.6 billion, Belgium with EUR 15.23 billion, France with EUR 10.7 billion, the United Kingdom with EUR 9.4 billion, Italy with EUR 5 billion, Spain with EUR 4.6 billion, Poland with EUR 4 billion, China with EUR 3.5 billion, the United States with EUR 3.4 billion and Sweden with EUR 2.7 billion.
