MAAP (Mercato Agro-Alimentare di Padova), Padua's wholesale market, Italy's No. 1 export market will once again be present at Fruit Logistica Hall 2.2 Stand C-10.
The market of Padua is at the center of a dynamic and constantly growing commercial network. At the heart of a region of production and with many wholesalers it enjoys a strategic position that makes it a real hub for export.
Each year, about 360,000 tons of Fruits & Vegetables are marketed, 55% of which are destined for export. MAAP has a total area of more than 250,000 m2 including 100,000 covered, 20,000 m2 of logistics platforms and refrigerated stores, and 180,000 m3 for cold storage.
