Similarly as in many west-european countries, the price of potatoes from a couple of weeks is skying high in Czech republic. It seems now that the top level of price for consumers reached EUR 600 per ton. Furthermore, the quality of goods may be the reason of complaints.
In April, Czech groceries are expected to switch for import of goods. There is already on the green market the potatoes offer from west-Europe but EUR 700 per 1 ton blocks the consumer demand.
