UK fruit farm fined over deaths

A UK fruit farm has been fined a total of £80,000 following the deaths of two Polish workers. The farm near Reading, which produces mainly raspberries and strawberries, was found guilty of not using suitable machinery and of not providing adequate training to the workers, who died after becoming entangled in rope while they were erecting polytunnels.
