Sharp rise in orange supplies from Peru

Between January and September 2023, Peruvian orange exports showed a drastic increase compared to the same lapse in 2022, according to Agrodata Perú.

 

During the initial 9 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 13.000.858 kilos of the fruit, worth $7.473.858.

 

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 7.506.306 kilos of oranges, for a total value of $3.308.099.

 

The primary destinations for Peruvian oranges until September 2023 included the Netherlands, accounting for 54% of the exports, the United Kingdom at 15%, and the Dominican Republic at 10%, among others.
