MR MOHAMMED MOHAMMEDLI
The AKHMED FRUIT company, which was exhibiting at the WorldFood Moscow fair, has existed for 3 generations, said Mr Mohammed Mohammedli, the head director of the company. Mr Mohammed Mohammedli grandfather’s, and then his father, were importing for the USSR.
In 1996, they became independent, and since then, they are one of the four biggest Russian importers, among the leaders of the fruit and vegetable market.
Last year, they imported 365.000 tons of goods from all over the world. The group owns 3 subsidiaries which are supplying wholesalers but mostly the supermarket distribution.
When you exhibit at the WorldFood Moscow fair, said Mr Mohammed, it’s very easy to meet a lot of suppliers and to speak with them, but also to discover new products from foreign continents.
