Bean sprout tests prove negative

After the Spanish cucumbers, suspicion turned to bean sprouts from organic farm located south of Hamburg as a source of contamination.
 
The experts examined the crops, water, ventilation systems in the search for Enterohemorrhagic E.coli (EHEC).
 
The Minister of Agriculture has announced that the first 23 of the 40 samples do not carry the hazardous pathogen. Analyses are continuing on other samples from the farm.
