The companies of Saint Charles offered 1,600 kg of citrus fruits which were sold, in various places of Perpignan, for the benefit of the Telethon 2021.
For several years now, member companies of Saint Charles International have been mobilizing in favor of the Telethon by collecting citrus fruits from the platform companies which are then sold for the benefit of the Telethon.
This year the Saint Charles companies donated more than 1 1/2 tonne of citrus fruit (around 1600Kg). Then, the Telethon association organized the sale of 1,600 1-kilo orange fillets on December 3 and 4 in various locations in Perpignan. With the slogan 'So fill up on vitamins' the 1 kilo net was sold for 1 euro. The proceeds from the sale were entirely donated to the Telethon association.
Mobilization around this national cause is obviously always well received by Saint-Charles businesses, which invest a little more each year to support this cause.
The Telethon is a charity event organized since 1987 by AFM (Association française contre les myopathies) to fund research projects on genetic neuromuscular diseases. The 2021 Telethon (December 3 and 4) raised 73,622,019 euros across the country.
