A small portion of fruits daily helps maintain ideal weight

Small cause great effects according to scientists from Harvard University and UEA ( University of East Anglia) , the study shows that consumption of a serving of fruit each day helps maintain an ideal weight.
This study, recently published in the British Medical Journal , analyzed data from a panel of 124 086 people , men and women over 24 years. The researchers concluded that daily consumption of one serving ( 80g ) of fruit rich in flavonoids could help maintain an ideal weight , thus improving health , preventing heart problems or diabetes, but even help to lose a few kilos.
The most powerful flavonoids are found in strawberries, blueberries , blackberries , cherries, grapes, blackcurrants and radishes , according to the study.
