Free distribution of fruit and vegetables

Summer Fruit and vegetables can be consumed at the start of the school year. This year stalls abound in products because of a late season.
Since Friday 2nd of September, a big advertising campaign stimulates sales of fruit and vegetables: "fruit and vegetables of summer will also be present at the start of the school year ".
This operation is organized by Gefel (economic Governance of fruit and vegetables), the Associations of producers' Organization Peaches and Nectarines of France, Plums, Tomatoes and Cucumbers of France, Grapes, ANPP Apples Pears, the SIPMM melon (Interprofessional Section of First Marketing of Melon), with the support of Interfel and FranceAgriMer.
An action of street marketing was held in Paris, Lyon and Nancy. Equipped with trolleys and baskets, young people, dressed in summer dresses, distributed fruit and vegetables.
This free distribution joins in an operation of promotion which will take place from September 10th to12th.
