Quite soon starts new season for rhubarb in Poland

Purchase of last year's vegetables in processing companies is coming to an end and in middle of May a new season for industrial rhubarb is expected to start.
For time being, rhubarb is found in wholesale markets, where its price oscillates between 0,92 and 1,05 EUR/kg in Bronisze market and between 0,53 and 0,66 EUR/kg in Poznan market.
These prices are stable comparing to Monday last week.
The same situation is in horticulture cooperatives where price of rhubarb is still on the level of 0,53EUR/kg. Purchasing season of rhubarb this spring will start about 2 weeks earlier than usual.
