Altess ®, the new generation apple

Its intense yellow color out of the ordinary, this is a sweet apple, fragrant and crunchy, and which keeps very well.

In April 2008, the Altess ® brand is created in partnership between the SICA POM'ALPES and nurseryman Davodeau-Ligonière, creator of the Dalitron variety. Dalitron born from the crossing of varieties Pilot and Golden, entered in the register of varieties in 2003. The SICA POM'ALPES  has exclusive rights of sales in Spain, Belgium and France.

The Altess ® apple is cultivated in orchards chosen between 300 and 600 meters, by nature and the environment friendly producers. In addition, its resistance to scab and russeting allows a significant reduction of inputs. It enjoys an optimal traceability.

The skin color is lemon yellow with a pink face. It provides a very balanced taste of sugar and acidity, the skin is smooth, flawless. It is a healthy fruit: you can eat the skin which is a source of vitamins (A and B). It is also good cooked as raw. Once cut, the meat does not blacken.
