Sodexo feeds the Dakar Rally

Sodexo was selected for the fourth consecutive year as the official catering supplier for the Dakar Rally which is taking place in Argentina, Chile and Peru until January 15.

On the course of 9,000 kilometers Sodexo will provide : 24,000 breakfasts; 21,000 lunch packs, 14,400 lunches and 27,850 dinners. With drivers, technicians, journalists and organisers, the rally involves 2,100 people.

The dining area managed by Sodexo is a camp, consisting of several tents set up for each step. During the rally, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, the Sodexo team serves the participants and assistants three daily meals.

Sodexo is contributing socially and econonically to areas where the rally takes place by sourcing locally for some daily necessity products (bread, drinks, water, fruits and vegetables).
