Exhibition space grows to keep pace with demand at Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong.
Asia Fruit Logistica, the region's premier trade fair, is attracting a significant number of new exhibitors for the event which takes place between 10-12 September at the Hong Kong Convention and exhibition centre.
Company demand has led to 4,600m2 of exhibition space being made available, a substantial increase on 2007's launch in Bangkok, with even more influential industry decision makers expected to attend.
Gérald Lamusse, managing director of joint organiser Global Produce Events, said: "This year will be even bigger and even better. Bangkok provided a wonderful start and showed that Asia is demanding a top-class fresh produce exhibition.
"Two-thirds of the visitors came from the Asia region and more than 80 per cent of them were in senior purchasing roles within their companies," he added.
