UK organic market growing by 11 percent a year

A recent study by the Soil Association says that the UK organic market is growing by 11 percent a year and is now worth £1.2 billion.
The study indicated that consumers are increasingly turning to farm shops, farmers' markets and independent retailers for their organic produce, with the share of organic sales made by supermarkets falling from 81 percent to 75 percent.
