Citrus exports: 1.6 million tonnes since the beginning of the season

The volume of Egyptian citrus exports is 1.6 million tons since the beginning of the campaign, said one of the Ministry of Agriculture services.

 

 

 

The Department of Agricultural Quarantine emphasized that exported products are monitored at all stages, from cultivation to packaging. Exporters are obliged to use stamps approved by agricultural quarantine agencies that prove compliance with standards.

 

 

 

In January, ministerial services denied reports of a decline in citrus exports, noting that Egyptian citrus exports had increased in 2018.

 

 

 

Citrus fruits and potatoes are the two most exported products in the country.
