Aldi to open first New York store

To further develop its American presence, Aldi is to open its first store in New York City.

 

 

This comes at the same time as the firm is concentrating on their growth on the east coast of Australia.

 

 

The store has already begun taking on managers for this store in anticipation of its opening early in 2010. It will be located in the Queens district, but there is no precise location further than this.

 

 

The presence of a new Aldi store is expected to stimulate trade in the city at large, as it will contribute to the commercial landscape in a new way.

 

 

Aldi already has 1,000 stores in America and is currently developing aggressively in Florida.
