New mango partnership for Hazel Technologies
Hazel Technologies, an agricultural technology company with the mission of reducing food waste and increasing the efficiency of U.S. produce supply chain, is joining forces with Holistic Solutions Global (HSG). The partnership allows the company to make its way further into the tropical fruit category by expanding the use of Hazel Tech solutions to include exported mangos.
Aidan Mouat, CEO at Hazel Technologies shares: “Expanding our international footprint is a key future focus.”
Holistic Solutions Global is a producer, exporter and marketer of tropical fruits from the Dominican Republic. The most harvested varieties of mangos are the Keitt, Mingolo, and Banilejo in the country. Since 2003, the DR’s mango production has increased by over 600 percent that opening up the partnership potential between two companies.
Harvey Garcia, President of HSG, says, “The addition of Hazel Tech to our full line of tropical fruits is just the latest of many steps we have taken to ensure the high quality products.”
Many leading academic research programs in the USA have tested Hazel Technologies’ Hazel Tech solutions and company’s patent-pending technologies. This makes the new partnership with HSG one of the best in the tropical category.
“Our expectation based on test data is to consistently achieve over 30 percent longer shelf-life with Hazel Tech in our supply chain,” adds Harvey Garcia.
